Angela Joy Anderson is a nationally renowned vocalist and internationally popular vocal trainer who is known and respected as a vocal arranger and writer with a personal body of recordings. Angela’s creamy and lithe voice mixes with a dynamic delivery and tricky colorful arrangements to showcase her interpretive finesse and interpretive inspired solos. An Oklahoma-bred pastor’s kid with over 600 television appearances, Angela reaches her audience with subtlety and expressiveness. Angela has an uplifting brightness in her vocal delivery. Her voice stands out for its emphatic clarity and genuineness.
Angela Joy Anderson has been chosen to be a musical ambassador abroad. She has performed in Europe and has opened for such acts as Rick Springfield, Sugar Ray, Andy Grammar, and Beach Boys to name just a few.
Angela serves as a Founder/Owner of the Anderson Institute of Music and Performing Arts which has been awarded the Official Best Performing Arts Education for the State of Arizona in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. She received her Degree in Vocal Performance from Oral Roberts University and her Master’s Degree in Music with a focus in Musical Theater form Oklahoma City University.
She was a 2 year member of the Oklahoma Opera and Musical Theater Company performing and assistant directing on shows such as “Kiss Me Kate,” “The Magic Flute,” “Seussical,” “The Merry Widow,” “Extra, Extra, Good News” and “Man of La Mancha.” Upon moving to Los Angeles, CA, she began pursuing television and film and had appeared in shows such as “Seventh Heaven,” and “Boston Legal.”
Since her celebrated CD debut recording “Someone to Watch Over Me,” she has entertained crowds across the nation.
